Step #1: Watch the habit class
The longer you don’t make exercise a habit, the longer you’ll be staying in the Cycle of Frustration:
- Say you lose 10 pounds by exercising for a few months. You give up, gain the weight back. Repeat this cycle 5 times and you have effectively lost 50 pounds only to have nothing to show for it.
- People who have made exercise a habit don’t see it as work. They’re actually liking it. And they get to not just avoid losing the results they get but also build upon them.If you were one of them, that’s how’d you go from losing weight, to then getting even stronger, then seeing even more definition, then getting better times at running, doing more push-ups, etc. If you become like them – every year you’ll be getting to a new personal best!
- People who have made exercise a habit do exercise regularly but don’t feel it as “work.” Plus, they get better and better results year after year.Compare this to people who start and stop exercise repeatedly – they put in all this work to get results – repeatedly, and repeatedly, lose them all over again. Talk about inefficiency!
Watch the Habits Class to learn the 5 myths that separate you from the people who started exercise and then went on to make exercise a habit.
