You sit down to eat. You enjoy your meal and you now no longer feel like eating more. Yet, there’s still some food left on your plate.
So you feel like you “can’t leave it.” You go ahead, and wipe your plate clean.
While this habit may sound innocent at first, it can account for hundreds of calories each week – calories that you did not even want to have. You’d be better off indulging in a chocolate bar or just any food you enjoy than getting calories simply because you felt compelled to finish everything on your plate!
