Roasted pork chops with green beans

Ingredients
- 3 top loin chops, boneless, thin-cut (0.5 lb)
- 3 top loin chops, boneless, thin-cut (0.5 lb)
- 0.75 cup water
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1.5 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1.5 tsp black pepper
Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Remove fat from pork chops (if any). Place chops in a roasting pan.
- Place beans in the roasting pan around the pork chops.
- Add water to pan bottom.
- Pour olive oil over the chops and beans.
- Sprinkle half the salt and pepper over the pork and beans.
- Sprinkle half the oregano over the chops.
- Flip the chops and sprinkle them with remaining salt, pepper and oregano
- Mix beans using your hands so that seasoning will be evenly spread. Then spread around the pork chops.
- Place the pan into the oven.
- After 45 min, flip the chops to bake them evenly.
- Continue baking for another 45 mins or until chops are golden brown.
- If at any point while backing the bottom of the pan is completely dry but the food is not cooked yet, then add a little bit of water (usually less than ½ a cup.)
- Remove from oven. Allow pork chops to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
