She noticed more definition in her waist and arms!

Because she’d already established her exercise routine before getting pregnant, she was able to easily (under her doctor’s supervision) continue working out during her pregnancy.
The effects of exercise on the health of mom and baby during pregnancy have been researched more over the past 15 years than ever before. In the past, expectant women were advised to restrict their physical activity. The benefits for healthy, active pregnant moms have shown to be somewhat inconclusive due to the still-small numbers of studies.
However, according to Exercise in Pregnancy: A Clinical Review, exercise did not conclusively prevent pregnancy issues such as gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, C-Section deliveries, or perinatal depression.
Fortunately, though, exercise appears to reduce:
- Blood glucose levels
- Caesarean Section or Instrumental Vaginal Deliveries
- Maternal Weight Gain
Their conclusion came with the following recommendation:
“In general, women who are physically active prior to pregnancy should be advised to maintain, and counseled that they can increase, their level of activity if desired, while physically inactive women should be encouraged to begin exercising.”
How she succeeded
3 ways FB16 helped Amanda prepare for pregnancy.

The workout videos Amanda did at home prior to FB16 left her bored and unmotivated.
“In the beginning I was really struggling, and thought for sure I can’t possibly be getting a workout, I’m only doing 5 push ups! As it progressed, I was able to see my body the strength increase.”
Amanda said the FB16 workouts have the right amount of cardio vs. strength training. She always found herself out of breath and sweaty at the end of a workout.
“With other workouts I never really felt like I was getting a workout. Yeah, I was doing it, but I didn’t feel that exercise high afterwards. Every single workout in your program, I definitely got that high. It definitely motivates you to keep going. I would absolutely recommend FB16 because the workouts are easy to follow and challenging at the same time.”

3. Establishing a routine to exercise before pregnancy helped Amanda adjust her workouts during pregnancy.

It’s important to note that Amanda did not continue FB16 into her pregnancy, since it is not an ideal prenatal workout.
